Antifreeze Poisoning, Ingesting Ethylene Glycol, better known as Antifreeze.

Anubis became part of our family 3 years ago and sadly today his life was

cut short and he was taken from us due to ingesting Ethylene glycol,

better known as Antifreeze.

I would personally like to thank James Cadwallader from ( Number 1

Vets Rugeley ) for his fast support to our emergency phone call on

Saturday night and all his efforts taken to save Anubis's life .

This was a distressing experience for everyone involved and my son

Shaun and his girlfriend Carrie who the cat belonged to were devastated

today as we laid Anubis to rest in our garden after only three short years

of life.

I have never seen the affects this substance on a living animal and how

fast it takes hold.

Whether or not this was a deliberate or an accidental incident we will

probably never know but we implore with people to ensure this substance

is not introduced to any living animal or left accessible as the results are

devastating.

Shaun & Carrie I am so sorry for your loss, I know you both loved Anubis

like your own child and will be sadly miss him.
