Work carried out during the main JCB summer shutdown 25/06/2011
Battening the vaulted Ceiling of the main bathroom that has two velux windows installed.
Now this may sound a straight forward task but from experience I can garantee it is fat from it.
The problems encountered are mainly levelness with the existing woodwork.
Now if you do not spend a significant amount of time on the process of levels the final job of plaster boarding will cause nightmares and result in a poor finish.
How long does this take.
Well i would put 1 - 2 days to complete to a good standard and many trips up and down the ladder.
Treat the Bubble in the spirit level as "God" and, The words "I think i can get away with that" may very well come back to bite you later when you’re putting your plasterboard on.
