New Genuine Chimney Pot Purchased off EBAY £15

I have installed a new Log Burner and have noticed that in windy weather I would suffer from downdraft coming back down the chimney. Now this is not a problem with the operation of the fire but did cause a problem with the smell of fire in the front room during the day or in the evenings is the fire was not lit. The unit cost £124.55p total including delivery and came with a 5 year warrantee.
The unit flips open to allow the chimney to be swept and spins very easily. The fitment of the unit was very simple and took only 15 minuets. That included getting on and off the roof.

Wile Looking on ebay for a new chimney pot i managed to find one in collection distance from my home. I contacted the seller and asked him if he would place a buy it now price on the Item and you guessed it he said £15 its yours.
So I collected the pot from the other side of Wolverhampton.
I purchased a tin of paint and i now need to substitute the new pot in place of the spinner as i am sure it will look more in keeping with the property.
I will take some pictures of the fitment of the chimney pot once i get a nice sunny day
